Breaking News: Invasive vines are back—and growing fast. But don’t panic. No need to shelter in place. Just grab your gloves and head to Danner Family Preserve for round four of vine-cutting fun!
Join Preserve Manager Ben and Conservation Tech Stella as we keep up the fight to restore this special forest to a healthy, thriving, native landscape. The vines may be relentless, but so are we—and thanks to your help, we’re already seeing real progress.

- Day + Time: Saturday, May 10, 11am–2pm, rain or shine.
- Getting There + Parking: Street parking available here (41.341822, -73.803885). Carpooling is encouraged.
- Difficulty + Safety: Less than half a mile of hiking required. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Long pants, long shirts, and closed-toed shoes required. Bring a water bottle. Tools and light snacks will be provided. No experience needed; WLT staff will provide training.
