Join WLT’s stewardship team on Monday, April 22 to plant native trees in a forest restoration area as part of our new forest health initiative at William K. Love Preserve in Lewisboro.

Day + Time: Monday, April 22, 10am–12pm (rain or shine).

Location + Parking: William K. Love Preserve in Lewisboro | Meet on the roadside in front of the preserve. Please carpool if possible.

Difficulty: Easy. Appropriate for ages 8 and up; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We will be working on and off-trail.

What to Bring/Wear: Water, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing. Work gloves and tools will be provided, feel free bring your own if you have them.

Safety: We will be working off-trail. There are some plants with thorns and there may be ticks and poison ivy. The best way to prevent these hazards is wearing appropriate clothing—closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves.
