Join WLT’s stewardship team on Saturday, April 13 to plant native trees in a forest restoration area as part of our new forest health initiative at Frederick P. Rose Preserve in Lewisboro.

Day + Time: Saturday, April 13, 10am–12pm (rain or shine).

Location + Parking: Frederick P. Rose Preserve in Lewisboro | Meet at the preserve parking lot. Please carpool if possible.

Difficulty: Easy. Appropriate for ages 8 and up; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We will be working on and off-trail.

What to Bring/Wear: Water, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing. Work gloves and tools will be provided, feel free bring your own if you have them.

Safety: We will be working off-trail. There are some plants with thorns and there may be ticks and poison ivy. The best way to prevent these hazards is wearing appropriate clothing—closed-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves.
