Join WLT’s stewardship team and the Town of Lewisboro Trail Volunteers on Tuesday, November 21 to help build a trail at Mill River Preserve in Lewisboro. We will be working to build a trail on the Mill River Preserve that connects with the Leon Levy East trail system.
Day + Time: Tuesday, November 21, 10am–1pm.
Location + Parking: Mill River Preserve in Lewisboro (This preserve is not yet open to the public) | Parking will be at the Leon Levy Preserve lot.
Difficulty: Intermediate to advanced. Appropriate for ages 12 and up; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
What to Bring/Wear: Water, snacks, weather-appropriate clothing—long pants, close-toed shoes, work gloves. WLT will provide tools (rake, shovels, etc) but feel free to bring your personal tools if you want to.
Safety: There are some plants with thorns and there may be ticks and poison ivy. The best way to prevent these hazards is wearing appropriate clothing—close-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves.
