Rock Shelter Preserve is a beautiful 26-acre sanctuary of woodland and wetland ecosystems that is adjacent to our Frederick P. Rose Preserve. Join Preserve Manager Ben and Conservation Tech Stella to learn about the preserve, roll up your sleeves to promote healthy habitats, get to know other volunteers, and make a difference in your community.

- Getting There + Parking: Parking is available here (41.292824804183816, -73.61073026370472). Carpooling is encouraged.
- Approximately one mile of hiking is required. No experience needed; WLT staff will provide training and tools.
- Safety: Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and close-toed shoes to the volunteer event, and consider dressing in layers and bringing a water bottle. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
