Tom Burke Preserve is a small preserve bursting with biodiversity. Half-meadow, half-wetland forest, the preserve is home to a variety of native flowers, shrubs, trees and grasses, all of which make the preserve a haven to vital pollinators.
WLT’s stewardship staff is hard at work this year to improve pollinator habitat at Tom Burke Preserve. Much of this work includes removing invasive species from the preserve to allow for native species regeneration.
Join Westchester Land Trust’s stewardship team for a day of invasive removal at the preserve. Come connect with nature, meet fellow community members, and make a meaningful impact on our local environment.
