Lodestone Preserve is the newest addition to Westchester Land Trust’s protected land. This 200.6-acre forested watershed property, located adjacent to the Croton Falls and Diverting Reservoirs, will open to the public for outdoor recreation in the coming months.
We’re looking for volunteers to help prepare the preserve for its opening. Join Preserve Manager Ben and Conservation Technician Stella for a morning of trail maintenance, habitat restoration, and hands-on stewardship. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the work that goes into preparing a new preserve for public access.
Come explore this remarkable landscape before it officially opens and help us get it ready for the community to enjoy.
