WLT’s stewardship staff is hard at work this year to improve pollinator habitat at Tom Burke Preserve, and much of this work includes removing invasive species from the preserve to allow native species regeneration.

This month, joining us in these efforts is Fat and Sassy Goats! WLT has hired this goat grazing company to help us remove invasive species at the preserve. The goats eat most of the leafy invasives, weakening the plants and slowing their growth, making it much easier for us to remove the plants after.
