Join WLT Staff for a volunteer workday to help restore habitat at Fredrick P.Rose Preserve.

Thank you all for coming. You may be wondering why you’ve been called here today. Our preliminary scouting report has identified a significant spread of invasive vines deep within Frederick P. Rose Preserve. These fast-growing plants are putting pressure on the small number of hemlock trees, crowding out native wetland species, and throwing the ecosystem out of balance. Fortunately, this is a challenge we can take on together!

This is a volunteer mission of high reward. By joining us, you’ll be protecting native habitats, learning hands-on stewardship skills, and connecting with other passionate community members. If you’re ready to get outside and make a difference, we’d love to have you on the team.

Together, we’ll restore balance, protect native species, and leave the preserve healthier than we found it. Misson ready? Let’s do this!
