Join WLT’s stewardship team on Monday, December 4 to help improve and enhance the trails at Hunter Brook Preserve in Yorktown. We’ll be installing stepping stones on a muddy section of the trail.

Day + Time: Monday, December 4, 10am–1pm.

Location + Parking: Hunter Brook in Yorktown | Parking is along a pull-off about 200’ past the trailhead.

Difficulty: Easy. Appropriate for ages 12 and up; minors must be accompanied by an adult.

What to Bring/Wear: Water, snacks, weather-appropriate clothing—long pants, close-toed shoes, work gloves. WLT will provide tools (rake, shovels, etc) but feel free to bring your personal tools if you want to.

Safety: There are some plants with thorns and there may be ticks and poison ivy. The best way to prevent these hazards is wearing appropriate clothing—close-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves.
