Join WLT’s stewardship team and the Glenwood Lake Association on Sunday, November 5 to help plant trees at Glenwood Lake Park in New Rochelle! We will be working on- and off-trail to plant native trees in a forest restoration area. Hosted in partnership with the Glenwood Lake Association.

Day + Time: Sunday, November 5. The morning session runs 10am–12pm and the afternoon session runs 1–3pm. Rain or shine. Please specify the morning or afternoon session in RSVP.

Location + Parking: Glenwood Lake Park, New Rochelle, NY | Street parking along Glouchester Lane in New Rochelle. There is limited parking, please carpool if possible.

Difficulty: Easy. Appropriate for ages 8 and up; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What to Bring/Wear: Water, snacks, and weather-appropriate clothing. Work gloves and tools will be provided, but please bring your own if you have them.

Safety: We will be working off-trail. There are some plants with thorns and there may be ticks and poison ivy. The best way to prevent these hazards is wearing appropriate clothing—close-toed shoes, long pants, and long sleeves.
